BurnLounge... what??

So, you may or may not have heard about this thing, but essentially, I have my own online music store. At first I was really pumped about it because it's brand new, it's really taking off and sweeping the nation and I had dreams of telling everyone about it and making lots of money. Well, so far the only money I've made is the 5 cents from each of the 20 songs I have to sell a month. And so far, I'm the only one that's bought any songs from my store! Not that it's a bad thing because if you think about it, I'm only paying 94 cents instead of the 99 cents... although I won't get that money back until I've made $50. So, at this rate, I'm never going to see it.

I won't go into great detail about the whole thing because, essentially, I'm not a salesman. I've never been good at it and instead of thinking things through, I was swept up in the excitement of friends who had done well with it and believed that I could as well! I just feel bad that I've let my friends down (and that I'm out the money for getting started with this whole thing).

So, if you do download music on a regular basis, you can check out my store at www.burnlounge.com/slewis. You can see what I'm "featuring" or you can search for whatever song your heart wants to listen to! It's actually a really neat idea. And if by chance you DO want some more info, www.yourburnteam.com has all the dirt... I mean details ;)

Picture of the day

So, Clemson is only one of my most favorite places on the planet, which if you know me at all, you knew that already. Anyway, this is Thomas Green Clemson, founder of Clemson College, sitting in front of Tillman Hall (clock tower, education building). I took this the day before I left Clemson to move home for a few days before moving to Belgium. It shows our history, where we came from, how Clemson started and the man that is the reason for my blood running orange!!

First Day

So... here I am. In a blog. The only reason I really did this was so I could make a comment on someone else's blog... This may take me a while seeing as I have limited access to the internet and such. But who knows, this may come in handy one of these days when I'm off galavanting around the world and sharing the love of Christ. So, stay posted for some real adventures - other than me getting connected to the online world.
