"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
There is a lot to be said for keeping God's Word in your heart and actually praying Scripture. It's amazing how when you are seeking Him and striving to be in His will He will give you just what you need. I've been asking for insight into His plan for me as I'm getting ready to move to an apartment instead of a house like I had been hoping. But in the midst of that, He reminded me that His plans are to prosper me and not to harm me. He loves me so much that He really has plans to give me hope and a future!
God isn't up there trying to see how He can mess up my life. I can walk you through my past 27 years and prove that right now. Everything He has done for me, with me and through me have been for HIS glory. So, while sometimes He asks me to fight and sometimes He asks me to persevere, this time He's asking me to just "be still" so that I can see that He truly is the Lord of my life. All I have to do is sit back and let Him do His job.
...sometimes that's a lot harder than it may sound!
