Shout Out!

Jill's sister Meghan got married today, almost 4 years after Jill did. It was actually a little surreal being in the church but helping her sister get ready this time around!

Jill has been in town the past couple of weeks helping her sister get ready for the wedding and I realized on my way home tonight that I've gotten to see her a good bit the past couple of weeks. Jill's friend Christine and I took care of her daughter, Andrea, during the ceremony and reception since she IS only 3 months old. But it was awesome to spend that time with her little girl! She is so precious. I even got to see Michael and his parents and brother since they were in town too.

So, this shout out is to the Groggs! South Carolina misses you and hopes that you come back from Indiana soon!!

Life Verse

Last Friday everyone at Upward went over to the new building (which is almost finished!) to eat lunch, but more importantly to write scripture on the floor. Yes, they are putting carpet down so the verses won't actually be seen, but we'll know they're there.

Not only do I work for an amazing company, but I have an incredible job. I spent 5 months living in Belgium among the nations, studied French for a year and a half in college, and have spent my whole life learning that there is an entire world out there full of people who are similar to me, but SO different at the same time. My mom is a French teacher so luckily I began learning about the "great big world" when I was young :) So now, I get to use my life experience and my passion for the Lord to figure out how we're going to take something as small as a soccer ball or basketball to reach children for Christ... all over the world! So, keep an eye on the nations and watch because the Lord is going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.

Deck Party

It's been a fun weekend... and it's not even over! We grilled out at John and Kelly's house last night and then Kel and I stayed up talking until 3am! Man, we are so not in college anymore. Although I was able to sleep until noon today, so that was great :)

Tonight, 205 had a cookout to celebrate the completed deck.
Hey... any reason for a party, right??



Believe it or not, it actually held all of us at once!

Tomorrow I'll be hanging out w/ some of my Clemson girls and "the next generation," aka Jill's daughter. I'm thinking about starting an ongoing photo project with my friends' kids. So, I'm going to start with Andrea tomorrow and then some of us are going to see a movie. I love fun weekends like this!!

Clemson Girls... best in the world!!

These are my Clemson girls. We were all together for a rare moment in history for Allison's lingerie shower this weekend. You can only imagine how much we laughed :)

Now there are only 5 of us "single girls" left. Who's gonna be next?? We're taking bets, so let me know. haha!

Something for the heart...
